Searching for an distraction

I so need a serie to look forward since House became such a disaster with all this Huddy crap *feeling sick*. Does anyone knows a nice TV show that makes me forget all of this for at least one hour? A nice ship would be great, too. I was thinking about "Bones" (never saw it though) but I am open for other possibilities! (Although Jen plays now in HIMYM I am still no fan of this Show. Don´t know why but it´s not my thing.)

So has someone got a suggestion?

I LOVE Rizzoli and Isles!! I'm also watching Grey's Anatomy as well, even if it is like a soap opera. It entertains me ;)

Leverage: This is my current favorite show... is just AWESOME... AWESOME!
Castle: You can't do wrong with this show... is somewhat like bones but way more 'dark' ;D
The Mentalist: Just one word.. SIMON BAKER!! *drools*
Bones: Guh I don't even need to say you should watch this.
Drop Dead Diva: This show is so funny and well done.. you'll love it.
Community: This is my favorite comedy [with modern family] right now... it's on its 1st season so.. ;D
Cougar Town: Courtney is just AWESOME here.
Modern Family: THIS IS A MUST... DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT

My friend Nicole told me I MUST start watching Rizzoli and Isles.. so maybe if you start with this one.. I'll start too and we can squee togeter ;D!

My main ship is still House and Cameron... but I ship Castle/Beckett from Castle. Jane/Lisbon from The Mentalist. Jeff/Annie from Community. Sheldon/Penny from TBBT. B/B from Bones... and ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING FROM LEVERAGE :D.

Bones is really good :) I'm looking forward to it returning in the fall. And I have to say in the last 2 years I was always more excited for new Bones episodes than House.

Or you could try Fringe, if you like some mystery as well. :)

So far I tried Rizzoli & Isles, I love the books (the show is based upon the novels by Tess Gerritsen) and the show is good too. And I fell in love with HIMYM, just in time, about 4 weeks before they announced that Jen will be in it soon &hearts

I have to admit that I haven´t heard about some of them before and I don´t think they can be seen in Germany :-(. Don´t know how I can watch free US-Tv from here. Maybe I will buy some DVD´s.

What I know (heard about): The Closer, the Mentalist, Bones and Grey´s Anatomy (watched it some time ago and still like it but don´t love it).

Rizzoli and Isles sounds good but don´t know if I get DVD´s. If I do I would love to watch and squee with lyly_hameron! Although I don´t know for whom we would squee ^^

I am watching Bones right now for the first time ever and I really like it although I´ve seen only 30 (commercial break right now). Just know that it´s a new episode but no idea which season or something. It´s about a dead Russian agent. Ypu see I am really a newbe here-

I just heard about "The Closer", "The Mentalist" and "Bones" in German TV allthough I think anly Bones is still on right now. You can read below about my first Bones episode ever and it was really good! I guess I have to see where I can get old episodes.

I watched Grey´s Anatomy, too but like you said it´s really a soap opera and I am afraid to watch again and then so many actors will leave and I am not really good with these changes.

These shows seem really great (read about them in the internet) but most of them can´t be seen in Germany. I watched Bones and really liked it. Guess I stay with it.

I try to get Rizzoli and Isles DVD´s and then we both can start!!!!! But you have to tell me first about whom we´re squeeing then ^^

I guess I start with Bones, too. The new episode I saw (look below, about some dead Russian agent) was really fun and I guess I start with old episodes first. Bones is the easiest Show to watch in Germany. Thanks for your help!

I wanna try Rizzoli and Isles, too. I know one can get the books in amazon.de but I haven´t seen the DVD´s. Maybe I haven´t searched good enough and so I will look once more. The books are a good start, too.

Don´t know if X-Files is still in German TV but it was really great. I almost forgot it. Never heard of Drop Dead Diva before. Don´t know if one can see it in German Tv but I´ll see.

Don´t worry I will continue soon! My next chapter is already finished but my wonderful beta needs to correct it for me first (My English is bad, too so don´t worry about yours!) and then the next one is almost finished. You can read in my new post why I didn´t had enough time to finish it this week!

I *cough*download*cough* alot of shows that some of my friends recommend to me.. and it's not that I don't try and watch watch them or rent them or anything like them, it's just well, living in US, and well.. you know.. sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.. ;)

You can download the episodes if you use a torrent site. I don't get the TNT channel where I am either, so that's the only way I can do it ;)

There arent any DVDs for Rizzoli and Isles because the show is in its first season and I don't know how many more episodes there will be until the season is over. There are 10 eps so far.
