See what embarassing thing I did today and how a crazy week in my life looks like.

My week was stressful as hell and I am so happy it´s already Saturday night (No, I am not going out. I am just tired). This was one of the worst week ever I guess.

School started on Monday again. We moved to a new building and nothing was really finished inside. It´s all a big construction site. So great when having second graders! I am so happy I haven´t lost somebody. II started to make my classroom ready for the kids and right now it looks good again although it´s so much smaller than the old one and everyday something gets broken. First the heater gets out than the lights and afterwards the heater won´t stop and the stupid mechanic asked me what I am doing here because it´s hot as hell. The kids stopped me from killing him. For them it´s all so excited! Who wouldn´t like a chainsaw on his playground and you can play so great on a scaffold and all the mechanics in the classroom....The parents aren´t really happy but that´s all not my fault and so I stopped caring.

Everyday we had to rehears our play for the enrollment. Of course all the kids forgot their part during summer break and I can´t get this stupid song out of my head but they really did it good (in the end). Of course we all had several meetings and all.

The enrollment was on Friday late afternoon. So great to organize everything and keep the cuties quiet all the time. I was sooooo glad when it all ended. I can´t remember a day with so much running and all. I fell asleep that day immidiately.

Now I got a cute class with 7 first graders and 10 second graders. Don´t know yet how this will work but let´s wait and see. Today we had a small marathon for schools and so no free Saturday. I was running again with the kids the whole time and when I got home I fell asleep for over 2 hours and I guess I won´t get up tomorrow. But today I had to get up and buy some food for my bunny. At least it´s happy now and I guess it won´t stop hopping on me for a long time. Really great to write this post with a bunny sitting on your laptop so if you find any errors - it´s not my fault.

Oh, I did something really really embarrassing after the marathon but hey I was tired. I wanted to drive home and my Navigational apparatus said "Turn right soon). I overheard the SOON-part and turned right immidiately. Don´t noticing the sign saying that this road was not for cars but only trams. I wondered why the street was so empty and of course I landed on a really big tram station with no getting out but of course full with people because of the event. You couldn´t oversee my car (bright red) and I had to ask how to get out. The question was : "How the hell did you get in??? Nobody managed this befor. Can´t you read signs?" This was such a SMART-ASS!!!!!!!!!!!! I told him that it was too late to ask this and it wouldn´t help now. I should have told him something really bad but it´s too late now. I just hope that no parent or kid from my school saw this. I have to kill myself then....

Hope you don´t call me crazy after this. So now I have to keep myself up to date again with all the updates I missed here. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!!!

I completely understand how you feel. I have weeks like that. At least the kids make it bearable, right? How are you doing with the smaller classroom? Did all your things fit? When will the construction be finished? I bet the kids do love all the work going on! I know mine do when workers come in to do something. It's just the coolest thing EVER! And who wants to do schoolwork when we can watch some man use a power tool!! lol!

I hope you rest tomorrow and get plenty of sleep. And don't be embarassed about making a wrong turn. I use a GPS system and do things like that all the time! ;)

That´s what I love at our job: It gets never boring! I guess we could bear everything for our cuties!
We got used to the classroom now but it wasn´t easy. I had a classroom twice the seize for 10 kids and now I got a small one for 17 kids. I got more furniture also. All my things did fit but there´s not much space left for the kids like before but our real classroom will be finished next schoolyear. Our primary school will be in the upper floor but it´s not finished yet. It doesn´t even has walls so we have to stay in another classroom for this time. Great, another moving next year....
I am just happy that I can let the kids learn and work in the corridor or in my spare room. There are many hiding places and the kids are used to work outside. German and Maths are taught in form of individualized instruction and so the cuties don´t have to be in the classroom. The whole primary school learns like that together and we can spread them in corridors and classrooms.
You´re so right - nothing is as exciting and interesting as workers! Espescially nothing I am telling them ^^
The construction should have been finished months ago! That´s so typical at our school. They plan and plan and nothing works. But the workers are really doing magic! They work day and night and you can see the progress almost every minute. We´re like a big family now :-)
My cuties like the new building and their classroom. They so much easier than their parents - nothing new^^

I guess we´re really very similar cause I am doing such things with my car all the time, too. Lol. My family wasn´t even suprised today. My dad just said once I should change my hair colour. Blond is not good for me, esp since it´s my natural colour ^^
